ABOUT THE FOUNDER

seasta was founded on something carried through more than 15 years of practice: teaching begins with listening.

That instinct took root early, on a sunny cul-de-sac where neighborhood games showed her that movement is enjoyable when it's shared. Yoga later turned that sense of connection inward. Her Master's in Communication, Communities, and Networks from the University of Washington gave it language, shaping how she understands belonging and the spaces people need to feel at ease.

Trained in Soulful Flow Yoga, with further study in vinyasa, restorative and yin, Stasea Stewart brings a trauma-informed, breath-centered approach to every session.

Participants are met as they are and invited to find their own path to calm awareness.

IN THEIR WORDS

from class reviews on MindBody.

★★★★★

Stasea is a phenomenal teacher. The pacing and flow is inviting and easeful while also providing moments of challenge and testing of strength. It was the perfect balance of rest and mindfulness and intensity. I will definitely be returning to one of Stasea’s classes!
